Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers known as Tollers, are the smallest of the retrievers and are in the AKC Sporting Group or UKC Gun Dog Group. The girls are 17-19 inches and weigh 30-40 lbs, males are 18-20 inches and weigh 40-50 lbs. They are shades of gold to red with white markings or can be solid colored. Friendly, sweet and active personalities, they can be trained to do most any dog sport with the right training, most do well with a soft touch. They can be independent at times. If you are ready to love and care for a toller for 12-15 years, they may be right for your family.
